Dental Bonding
What is dental bonding?
Dental bonding is used to correct chips and cracks on the surface of the teeth. In dental bonding a tooth-colored material is applied to the surface of the tooth and then is hardened by a special light, so it bonds to the tooth. Since this material is in the same color as the tooth, it is indistinguishable from it.

What are the advantages of dental bonding?
Dental bonding is one of the least expensive cosmetic dentistry treatments. It can be done quite easily, usually in one office visit. Unlike to veneers and crowns, there is no need to remove a part of tooth enamel to apply the bonding material. In cases where dental bonding is used instead of amalgam fillings, there is no need for anesthesia since this treatment is completely painless.
